Heart Opening and Grandfather Meditation 

Friday night Heart Opening ceremony

The Heart Opening ceremony has become the cornerstone of our gatherings since its introduction to the Brotherhood in October 2024. The vibe is gentle and tender, tranquil and warm. Working in the highest integrity, Amy and Rob create a safe and secure environment that gives us freedom to be our genuine selves. Soft music, low lighting, and the mellow murmur of conversation gently lead us into a level of openness and vulnerability that is rarely experienced in our day-to-day lives.

Saturday Grandfather ceremony

For the first time, Amy and Rob bring to the brotherhood the subtle energetic work of Grandfather. Our Grandfather awakens us to a profound awareness of our physical bodies and our beloved Mother Earth, and connects us with our ancestors and the legacy of generations of gay men who have come before us. The ceremony begins in the morning and lasts into the early evening. Throughout the day our journey is carefully crafted to allow a balance of quiet time for introspection and contemplation, and social time for engagement with our brothers. Combining music and silence, food and fasting, movement and stillness, the time flies by as we journey deep within, culminating in a celebratory dinner and the opportunity for a good night’s sleep.

Sunday morning cacao circle

We gather in the ceremony space one more time to share in the remarkable healing properties of Cacao. As the firey feminine energy of the brew opens our hearts, we will be invited to share with our brothers the insights, connections, and healing that we expereinced over the weekend.
